Will the test damage my bullion?
No. The verification reading, weight check and dimensional checks are non-destructive. We do not drill, file, scratch or apply acid to the item.
Can sealed bars be checked?
Often, yes. Sigma Metalytics devices can generally test through non-metallic plastic holders and assay packaging. Packaging, thickness and item construction can affect which checks are possible.
Does a passing reading prove an item is genuine?
No single non-destructive test proves authenticity. We use a layered screening approach and explain any limitations. Formal certification or compositional analysis requires an appropriate laboratory or recognised grading service.
Do you buy, sell or value bullion?
This site offers verification as a separate service. A test result is not a financial valuation or an offer to buy the item.
